WKM Cattle is a family-owned Shorthorn/Shorthorn Plus operation in Randolph County, Arkansas, near the small town of Imboden. The operation is headed by the Williams family: Warren, Melinda, and Katie. We started with the Shorthorn breed of cattle when Katie was in the 6th grade in 2002. She bought her first Shorthorn heifer from Russell Sloan of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and we have been in love with the breed ever since. We have dabbled in other breeds, such as commercial cattle, Brangus, and Angus, but our main focus is the Shorthorn breed. Livestock showing is something our family loves to do together, and we also love providing juniors with cattle, help, and support.
As far as selling cattle, our farm wants to sell the type of cattle that can hold up in both the show ring and the pasture.
